This pepper steak stir fry is thinly sliced flank steak π₯© cooked with red and green bell peppers π« in a savory sauce. A quick and easy meal that tastes even better than takeout π₯‘!
Ingredients:
- π₯© 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- π« 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- π« 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- π§ 1 small onion, sliced
- π§ 3 cloves garlic, minced
- π§ 1/4 cup soy sauce
- π½ 1 tbsp cornstarch
- π― 2 tbsp brown sugar
- π 1/2 cup beef broth
- π« 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- πΏ 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- πΆ Optional: 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions:

Prepare the Sauce:
- π₯£ In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and beef broth. Set aside.

- π₯ Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- π₯© Add the flank steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

- π« Add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil to the skillet.
