This pepper steak stir fry is thinly sliced flank steak ๐Ÿฅฉ cooked with red and green bell peppers ๐Ÿซ‘ in a savory sauce. A quick and easy meal that tastes even better than takeout ๐Ÿฅก!

Ingredients:

  • ๐Ÿฅฉ 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • ๐Ÿซ‘ 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • ๐Ÿซ‘ 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • ๐Ÿง… 1 small onion, sliced
  • ๐Ÿง„ 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ๐Ÿง‚ 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • ๐ŸŒฝ 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ๐Ÿฏ 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ๐Ÿš 1/2 cup beef broth
  • ๐Ÿซ’ 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ๐ŸŒฟ 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • ๐ŸŒถ Optional: 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce:

    • ๐Ÿฅฃ In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, and beef broth. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Steak:

    • ๐Ÿ”ฅ Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
