Melting Moments
- 5 cups flour
- 500 g margarine
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 tsp essence of your choice (I prefer orange or lemon essence)
- 1 egg yolk
Method
Melt Margarine and add icing sugar, mix well. Add essence and egg yolk, and give it a good mix. Add flour one cup at a time until it’s soft. Use a piping bag and a big nozzle to decorate with jelly tots sweets on top. You can even boil jam and pour it when done baking.
Ginger Biscuits
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 7 tsp ground ginger
- 4 TBS white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 200g Golden syrup
- 250g margarine
Method
Mix Flour, baking powder, sugar, and ginger, then rub in margarine. Make a hole in the middle, add syrup, and mix. Make small round balls and bake. β₯οΈβ₯οΈ
Red Velvet Biscuits
- 2 cups coconut
- 2 and 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 250g margarine
- 2 tsp vanilla or caramel essence
- 2-4 tablespoons crimson pink food colouring
Method
Mix margarine and sugar, add essence and food colouring. Add flour and coconut, then rub in butter. Roll your dough with a rolling pin and scrape the top using a fork (I use a toothpick or skewer). Use a round cutter to cut and bake.
Lemon Creams
- 5 cups flour
- 500g margarine
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 tsp lemon essence
Method
Melt Margarine and add icing sugar, mix well. Add essence and give it a good mix. Add flour one cup at a time until it’s soft. Roll your dough flat, poke using a fork, and cut using a square cutter.
