Homemade Crepes Recipe

HOMEMADE CREPES πŸ˜‹

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 liter of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 250 grams of flour
  • 50 – 55 grams of butter

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, add flour and salt. Stir with a hand whisk and make a little well in the center of the flour, like you’re making homemade pasta.
  2. Melt the butter for a few seconds in the microwave and set it aside.
  3. Pour eggs and melted butter into the hole previously made in flour. Mix with the same hand whisk until the ingredients are well integrated. You can break eggs in another container beforehand to prevent shell pieces from escaping.
  4. Pour the milk little by little without stopping stirring. Get a homogeneous mix with virtually no lumps.
  5. Pass the mixture obtained through a fine strainer using a spatula. This way, lumps that haven’t dissolved yet are removed. Cover dough and let it sit for at least an hour.
  6. Equip yourself with a medium-sized or large-sized pan, depending on the size of homemade pancakes you want to obtain. It’s recommended to use a nonstick frying pan. Put the skillet over low heat and grease it with a little butter. Absorbent paper can help remove the excess.
  7. Take a serving spoon and use it to pour the batter into the pan. This way, you won’t feel guilty of adding too much.
  8. Spread the mixture by turning and gently lifting the mold.
  9. When bubbles start to form, lift the edge of the pancake with a spatula. If it’s really golden, flip it over and let it cook on the other side. This process can take more or less 1 minute.
