Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound sweet or hot sausage, casings removed
- 1 (16 ounce) container cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/2 cup Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 cup biscuit or pancake mix
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400Β°F.
- In a large bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions (if using), and Rotel. Mix well.
- Add egg and mix until combined.
- Gradually add biscuit mix and mix until a dough forms.
- Use a cookie scoop or spoon to form into balls.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Note: You can also make these ahead of time and freeze for later use. Simply thaw and bake as directed.
