Ingredients:

  • 8 oz farfalle pasta
  • 1 can of tuna in water, drained
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the farfalle pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the mushrooms: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they’re golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Make the creamy sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  4. Combine everything: Add the drained tuna to the skillet and fold it gently into the creamy sauce. Then, add the cooked farfalle pasta, tossing until everything is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve: Remove from heat and transfer to serving plates. Garnish with fresh parsley for a touch of color. Enjoy your delicious creamy pasta!
