Chocolate Cake Recipe

Cake with Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1.5-2 tablespoons of cocoa

To Decorate the Cake:

  • 100-150 grams of pistachio
  • 250 grams of chocolate
  • 1 cup of liquid cream

Method:

  1. Put the eggs, sugar, and vanilla in a whisking bowl and whisk them until they turn brown.
  2. Add the oil and yogurt and continue to whisk.
  3. Add the cocoa, baking powder, and flour and beat them until well combined.
  4. Grease the cake mold and pour the cake mixture into the mold.
  5. Bake the cake in an oven preheated to 175°C (347°F).
  6. While the cake is baking, prepare the chocolate. Slowly heat the cream.
  7. Add the chocolate to the warm cream and melt it with constant mixing. Then, add the pistachios and mix them in.
  8. Take the cake out of the oven and leave it for 15 minutes to cool. Then, remove it from the mold and place it on a wire rack.
  9. Decorate the cake with the chocolate mixture and refrigerate it for 3-4 hours.
  10. Once chilled, take the cake out and cut it into slices to serve.
