A delightful and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and fettuccine adorned with a rich Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces dry fettuccine pasta
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cooked and cubed
  • 2 cups chopped fresh broccoli
  • 2 small zucchini, julienned
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper

Directions

  1. Begin by boiling a generous pot of lightly salted water. Add in the pasta and let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes until firm to the bite; then drain.
  2. As the pasta cooks, gently melt cream cheese and butter together in a skillet over gentle heat. Stir continuously until a smooth blend is formed.
  3. Add the milk gradually, infusing it with garlic powder, and adjusting with salt and pepper. Allow this mixture to thicken over three minutes of constant stirring.
  4. Incorporate the cooked chicken, broccoli, zucchini, and red bell pepper into this mixture. Let it cook for another 3 minutes on medium heat.
  5. Lower the heat, allowing the flavors to meld together and the vegetables to soften over a period of 5 minutes.
  6. Serve this delightful concoction over the cooked fettuccine and enjoy a comforting bowl of Chicken Alfredo.
