Cheesy Sloppy Cheeseburger Pasta Delight

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni or pasta of your choice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or pan, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juices), beef broth, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat it with the sauce.
  7. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts and is well combined.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
