Baked Garlic Butter Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of potatoes (variety of your choice), peeled and cut into quarters
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (thermostat 6-7) and lather a sulfurized paper baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, mix the potato quarters with minced garlic and melted butter until the potatoes are well coated.
- Divide the potato quarters on the baking sheet into a single layer.
- Season with salt and black pepper to your liking.
- Bake the potatoes and roast for about 30-40 minutes, flipping to half-baked, until golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
- Once cooked, take the potatoes out of the oven and let them sit for a few minutes before serving.
- Top with possibly chopped fresh parsley for an extra pop of color and freshness.
- Serve hot with your favourite dishes. Cheers
