Creamy Chicken Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 Chicken breasts
- 1 ½ cups Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Flour
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1-2 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ¼ cups Half and half
- ½ Chicken bouillon cube
- ⅓ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- ⅓ cup Grated Romano cheese
- ½ lb Pasta of your choice
- 1 Lemon (optional)
- ½ tsp EACH: Onion powder, Garlic salt, Oregano, Basil, Mustard powder, Parsley (all dried)
- ⅛ tsp Smoked paprika
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
In a small bowl, combine half and half with chicken broth, garlic powder, and all the dried seasonings like onion powder, garlic salt, oregano, basil, mustard powder, parsley, and smoked paprika. Set aside.
Season and Cook the Chicken:
Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make thinner pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then lightly coat with flour. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from heat and let rest for 10 minutes before cutting into strips.
Cook the Pasta:
Meanwhile, boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of the pasta water, then drain and set the pasta aside.
