Ingredients

  • 1 boxed vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice, divided
  • 7 oz sweetened condensed milk (half a can)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • 10 oz Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers
  • 2 graham cracker sheets (about 8 crackers)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake:
    • Add 1/4 cup key lime juice to the vanilla cake mix and prepare the cake according to the package instructions.
    • Bake as directed and let the cake cool to room temperature.
  2. Make the Truffle Mixture:
    • Once the cake is cool, crumble it into large pieces and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
    • Stir in the 7 oz sweetened condensed milk, 1/4 cup sour cream, the remaining 1/4 cup key lime juice, and green food coloring if using. Mix until the mixture resembles cookie dough and is easily moldable.
  3. Shape and Chill:
