Spicy Steak Fajitas

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced thin
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups Mexican Blend cheese, shredded
  • 6 to 8 tortillas

Instructions

  1. FIRST STEP:
    In a zip lock bag, place the sliced steak, the spices, the lime juice, and the olive oil.
    Close the bag, shake to coat the pieces of steak.
  2. SECOND STEP:
    Add the peppers and onions to the bag and reclose the bag.
    Shake the bag again to coat the vegetables.
  3. THIRD STEP:
    Add 1 tbsp Olive oil to a skillet and add the ingredients from the bag into the heated skillet.
    Cook until the vegetables are just becoming tender and the steak is cooked.
  4. FOURTH STEP:
    Serve with warm tortillas, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and your choice of optional toppings.
