Rebuilding My Active Members List: Say “Hi” to Join!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic & ginger paste
  • 600 grams tenderized steak, cut into strips
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • 8 bread rolls

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Vegetables:

    • Heat the oil over medium heat.
    • Add the green pepper, red pepper, and onion.
    • Cook, stirring frequently, until caramelized, about 5 minutes.
    • Remove the vegetables from the pan and set them aside.
  2. Cook the Steak:

    • In the same pan, add the steak strips.
    • Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic & ginger paste.
    • Cook until the steak is tender, about 30-40 minutes, depending on the cut of meat used.
  3. Combine Ingredients:

    • Return the cooked peppers and onions to the pan with the steak.
    • Toss to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  4. Prepare the Rolls:

    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • Slit the bread rolls from the top, but do not cut through.
    • Fill each roll with the steak mixture.
    • Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake and Serve:

    • Place the filled rolls in the preheated oven.
    • Bake for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
    • Serve hot and enjoy!
